New Nite Jewel, Gang Clours and Charlotte Gainsbourg albums on the way
LA hypnogogic disco singer Nite Jewel has signed to Secretely Canadian and will release a follow-up to 2009’s ‘Good Evening’. Titled ‘One Second of Love’, it’ll be out on the 5th March, and you can hear the first song on this Soundcloud link.
London producer Gang Colours is going to bringing out his album on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings. Titled ‘The Keychain Collection’, it’ll “drop” on the 27th February, and you can hear the lovely On Compton Bay below. Also, read Gilles’s piece on his hero Steve Reid here. Finally, good old Feist has a double album due next year. Titled ‘Stage Whispers’, it’s a double album, one disc live, one from the studio, and features collabs with Beck, Conor O’Brien of Villagers, Noah and the Whale and Connan Mockasin.
