Nas is writing an actual autobiography

After deciding against naming his album 'I Am...The Autobiography' ten years ago, rapper Nas has signed a book deal and will be releasing a real memoir in 2012.

Booksellers rejoice – rapper Nas has finally decided to deliver the autobiography that he sort-of promised ten years ago, with news emerging that he has signed a book deal that will deliver his memoirs in 2012.

Alongside music journalist Touré, Nas will be chronicling his entire life, encompassing high-profile professional feuds as well as personal matters such as his mother’s illness and his marriage to Kelis.

Touré tweeted earlier this week, “this will be hip hop history.” Watch this space.
