The former crew members connect with a song about the dangers of adultery.
Earlier in 2015, Novelist announced that he would be leaving his crew The Square, announcing on Twitter that "shifty things have been happening for a while & I'm 18 carrying a lot of people’s careers alone. Time to be myself.”
Today (December 15th), Novelist has shared a previously unheard collaboration with The Square's Faultsz titled Linking Gash, with "London's Rudeboy" and Faultsz relaying shared tales of approaching girls and the dangers of adultery. Whether it is was recorded before after the departure is open to debate, but Novelist is credited as the song's producer, with a note from Kojo Kankam saying "This one's [sic] for all the mandem when their link goes wrong."
During his time as part of the collective, Novelist released and was featured on 2014’s ‘The Formula’ and ‘Lewisham McDeez’ from earlier in 2015. Following his collaboration with Mumdance ‘1 Sec’, Novelist is expected to release his debut album on XL Recordings soon.
