Legendarily extreme art band Laibach performs retrospective at Tate Modern

The musical arm of the Neue Slowenische Kunst group to close a day of exhibits and discussion.

Best known for their industrial covers of pop classics like Queen’s One Vision and Europe’s The Final Countdown , Slovenian outfit Laibach will be performing at the Tate Modern following a day of talks examining the history of the New Slovenian Art Collective (or Neue Slowenische Kunst). The controversial political art group have been generating some distressing allusions to past dictatorship of their country across media and, as the musical arm of the project, Laibach’s Wagnerian epics are no exception. They will be performing Saturday April 14th.
