Last drops of reissue blood squeezed from Factory Records stone with new compilation

Actually, this mix CD, of 80s dance-leaning tracks on the obsessively catalogued Manchester label looks pretty rad.

Factory Records – oh, you know, Joy Division, Happy Mondays, losing money on Blue Money 12“s, Hacienda, right? – has been picked over obsessively, but it seems that modern dance’s leading archaeologists, Bill Brewster of DJ History and Strut Records, have unearthed some more rare finds, in the form of ‘FAC. DANCE’, a compilation of the Manchester label’s dance, funk, reggae and electro releases.
