Kendrick Lamar releases new album 'untitled unmastered.'

Kendrick Lamar has surprise released a new album titled 'untitled unmastered.'

Earlier this week, Top Dawg Entertainment boss Anthony Tiffith hinted on Instagram that a new Kendrick Lamar release was on the way this year. Making good on the promise, the eight-track follow-up to 2015's 'To Pimp A Butterfly' was rolled out overnight and is available to buy and stream everywhere.

'untitled unmastered.' includes the unnamed songs Kendrick Lamar has performed on The Colbert Report and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. during the past couple of months. They are now called untitled 03 | 05.28.2013. and untitled 08 | 09.06.2014., respectively, whereas segments of 08 untitled 08 | 09.06.2014. was used in remixes of Funkadelic's Ain't That Funkin Kinda Hard on You. Since the release of 'untitled, unmastered.', Swizz Beatz has confirmed on Instagram that his 5-year-old son Egypt produced the second of untitled 07 | 2014 – 2016, and was later confirmed by TDE producer Sounwave on Twitter.

Update (15:15): According to Pitchfork, a representative of Adrian Younge has confirmed that untitled 06 | 06.30.2014. features Cee-Lo Green, A Tribe Called Quest's Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Younge, with the latter two credited as co-producers.
