Karin Dreijer Andersson – No Face

New material from the woman behind Fever Ray and The Knife.

One of the most enduring of albums of recent years is Fever Ray’s self-titled debut. Full of ancient mystery, bracing textures and some of the strangest motions pop has made in the last 30 years, it built on the legacy of The Knife, the Swedish band she co-fronted. Today, we’re glad to share a song written under her own name. Karin Dreijer Andersson’s No Face, written for The Wolf Hour an Ingmar Bergman play performed in March 2011 in her native Stockholm, is on a Japanese tsunami benefit CD, and you can hear it below.

Preorder ‘We Are The Works In Progress’, featuring the above track and more by people like Four Tet, Pantha Du Prince and Terry Riley here.
