Kanye West breaks the internet by revealing album release date

Kanye West has revealed the date of release for his new album. Making the announcement on his now revived Twitter page, West earmarked June 1st for the long awaited drop. The Chicago icon announced the album's potential title, Turbo Grafx 16, early in 2017 and has since reportedly been recording in a mountain in Wyoming with the likes of Nas, Travis Scott and Kid Cudi. West's last opus was 2016's The Life of Pablo.

In a series of later tweets, Kanye also announced a joint album with Kid Cudi to drop just one week after his own release, calling their group Kids See Ghost. He also revealed dates for Pusha T and Teyana Taylor's albums. What a time to be alive. Check out Kanye's tweets below.
