'Watch the Throne' is available for pre-order

Rumours of an early, 4th July release for Jay Z and West’s combined venture “Watch the Throne” have turned out to be false, as the album remains firmly under wraps. What we do have now, though, is the artwork, along with the ability to pre-order the record here

Customer receipts suggest that the release date will now be 2nd August, so prepare to go H.A.M. this time next month when you can finally get your hands on the highly-anticipated tracks.

The album is available in four different formats; deluxe and standard, MP3 and CD, and boasts producer credits for the likes of Swizz Beatz and Lex Luger, and guest vocals from Beyonce.

Def Jam Recordings will release ‘Watch the Throne’ on 2nd August 2011
