Justin Timberlake is recording new material
“So are you just…are you just done with music?”
It’s the question we’ve all been asking Justin Timberlake in the strenuous six years that have passed since 2006’s ‘FutureSex/LoveSounds’, and finally, in a trailer released on Youtube today, he has deigned to (sort of) answer it.
In the brief clip, the singer talks about his reaction to the above question and the reasons for his extended hiatus – he only likes to put out music that he loves, and as he rightly says “you just don’t get that every day, you have to wait for it.”
The video ends with JT announcing that he’s ready, presumably meaning that he is currently preparing to unleash new music on the world. A countdown has begun on his website, and we can only hope that something a bit more tuneful is waiting for us at the end of it. Watch the trailer below.
