Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé will release a song today, the world hopes

It might just be wishful thinking in the extreme, but reports suggest that Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé are collaborating on a new track, due to drop today. Back in December, the pair were spotted leaving a studio together, and this morning the SexyBack star tweeted “Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at 9:01 am PST…” Jay Z and Timbaland may also have something to do with the project.

For Justin, this will be his long-awaited return to music after a Hollywood hiatus. If the tweet is referring to music and not some kind of MySpace promo, then it should drop at around 5pm GMT. Watch this (very excited) space.
