James Murphy has developed a wine bar, and gout

The Four Horsemen in Williamsburg opens in June, with room acoustics designed so you won't have to yell to speak to your friends.

James Murphy is adding another peculiar project to his varied post-music career: opening a wine bar.

Speaking to the New York Times, Murphy announced plans to open a bar called the Four Horsemen in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighbourhood in early June. Very contemp conformie.

Besides featuring up to 350 different wine selections, Murphy spent a lot of time working on the room's acoustics, designing the space in such a way that you won't have to yell over the music to speak to your friends.

More importantly, in Murphy's continued culinary explorations over the past few years (eating "like a 14th-century noble", as he says), he developed gout. "Far and away the most painful thing I've ever had."
