James Blake, Airhead and friends launch new London night

R&S gang behind 1-800-DINOSAUR night at Plastic People.

1-800-DINOSAUR is a new night at London’s Plastic People set up by James Blake, R&S Records’ Dan Foat, Airhead, Klaus and drummer Ben Assiter who plays in James Blake’s band. The idea came about when the group of friends were all on tour, playing records for fun at after-shows. Anything apparently goes with the music policy – UK garage, Chicago house, dub, you name it – and everyone takes turns playing with the occasional guest. At the last one Space Dimension Controller finished his set with Cyndi Lauper’s Time After Time, which sounds like a p-a-r-t-y in Dummy’s book. If you like dancing and fun, the next 1-800-DINOSAUR night is on Wednesday 1st August 2012 (flyer below), plus keep an eye on their Tumblr for future dates.
