Hudson Mohawke lines up new EP 'Chimes'; gets shoutout in new Apple ad
Hudson Mohawke is lining up 'Chimes', a new EP for Warp Records, due for release in September.
Four tracks long, the EP contains three new productions, as well as a "Gammer Re-Edit" of the title track. It's his first since the release of 'Satin Panthers' back in 2011.
Its title track is included in an Apple advert (embedded above) which has a bunch of flickering images of stickers on a MacBook that sync up with HudMo's music. At one point, you'll notice that the MacBook has iconic stickers like the Ooops! decal as well as logos for labels LuckyMe, Warp, Fool's Gold, Stone's Throw, DFA, and Kompakt. It's all very cool and trendy.
