Gwilym Gold is finally releasing his "infinite" album

Gwilym Gold will release his long-awaited debut solo album 'Tender Metal' on his "Bronze" player, which spontaneously remixes his songs forever in September.

Gwilym Gold – ex-singer with The Golden Silvers – has invented a new format to play his music. The “Bronze” player is a Mac application that takes the stems of songs, and randomly reprocesses these into a literally infinite number of compositions, meaning as many times as you play a song, that you will never hear the same track twice. This is quite incredible, as we explained here over a year ago.

It’s taken till then to see the project come to market, but it will finally be available to the public on 10 September 2012 from the App store, and is available on the iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad. We’ve heard this played a few months ago at a listening party in the depths of Waterloo, and it is really quite captivating. A new song is available to stream below.
