Grouper is set to play a gig in an 18th century church in London

The folk-voiced artist will be playing a live set at the St-Giles-In-The-Fields church in London's West End in October.

Ambient, acoustic musician Grouper has announced that she will be bringing her live show to London’s St-Giles-In-The-Fields church on the 6th October.

There’s surely nothing to dislike about the news that a gig is being held in a church, and the news that US underground artist Liz Harries is to perform in one is particularly good, as it’s difficult to imagine the rich reverb and ethereal quality of her music being captured properly anywhere else. The church, built in 1734, will play host to songs from Harris’s latest set of albums, the gentle A I A , released in April of this year.

Tickets for this unreal gig are £10 and available here .
