The event will honour the life of drummer Jack Savidge's recently deceased flatmate and aim to raise awareness of rising male suicide rates.
The friends and family of Adam Connolly, who tragically took his own life this month, will put on an event to celebrate his life and try and raise funds for male suicide prevention, which has again seen a post-recession rise in the UK.
Adam was Jack Savidge’s flatmate, who is Friendly Fires’ drummer. The band will headline the event at East London venue XOYO on Wednesday 12th December, which is also set to feature DJ sets from Beyond The Wizard’s Sleeve (Erol Alkan), The Horrors and Chapel Club. Comedian and actor Mat Horne will be the compere, and there will also be an additional very special guest announced on the night.
You can find out more information on the event’s Facebook page, with advanced tickets priced at £20. All profits will go to a relevant charity selected by Adam’s family.
