Four Tet announces a massive 12 hour show, starting at 8am(!)

Four Tet, Daphni, Kyle Hall and more will play to early risers and hangers on from the night before for one day in October.

Massive news alert: Four Tet has announced a show at Shoreditch's Village Underground and it's – well, it's long, to say the least.

Taking place on Sunday 27th October, the event will see Four Tet perform both a live set and a DJ set, flanked by a stonking cast – Daphni, Kyle Hall, DJ Slimzee, DJ Barely Legal, Slackk and Beneath.

The real kicker is the timing, though. As you may have noticed, 27th October is a Sunday, which isn't the day most associated with clubbing. To address this, the day's proceedings will begin at 8am – yes, eight o'clock in the morning – and run until 8pm. According to Four Tet himself on Twitter, he'll be playing his live set at 8am on the dot.

We can't say whether the crowd will mostly consist of early risers or hangers on from the night before, but either way, it should be an interesting vibe. Head to the Eat Your Own Ears website for more details – tickets go on sale on Friday September 20th.

Yesterday, Four Tet shared Parallel Jalebi, a new song from his forthcoming album 'Beautiful Rewind'.
