FKA twigs covers Sam Smith's Stay With Me

FKA twigs was recently over at Maida Vale for a live session on BBC Radio 1. Over the weekend, she was on the station once again, this time playing a Live Lounge set for Alice Levine.

As per Live Lounge tradition, this meant that, besides playing one of her own songs (in this case, Two Weeks), she also had to cover a chart hit. She chose Sam Smith's Stay With Me. Of Smith's song, twigs says that "there was one line which basically alludes to saying, 'I'm not in love with you, and maybe this isn't a serious thing, but it's perfect for right now, and it's what I need emotionally right now.' And maybe that's something that I have related to."
