Feist announces new album for October release

Last Thursday Feist dropped a mysterious video clip which seemed to allude to a new album, and today, we have confirmation that the new record will be with us in October.

With the release of a second video teaser, the viewer is allowed to listen in on the recording of a live string section, and hence snippets of a new song. The singer has once again collaborated with Chilly Gonzales, Mocky, and Valgeir Sigurðsson for the new material, which dazzles in these soft-focussed vignettes. Watch them both below, and get excited.

Cherrytree/Interscope will release ‘Metals’ on 4th October 2011.
