Dummy will be hosting a party at SXSW

Details of our incredibly exciting official showcase event, held in Texas in two weeks, inside.

We’re delighted to finally announce details of our official South By South West party. It will take place on Wednesday, 14th March, at Barbarbella Bar, in Austin Texas. It’s the second Texan adventure of the Dummy team. After we put on Mount Kimbie, Laurel Halo, Pure X and a load of others on under the Austin sun in 2011, the organisers of SXSW proper asked us to present a showcase, so, as a result, we’re back to blast the best of the continent’s 21st century pop at the scrum.

It will look something like this:

We are presenting eight acts in association with three of North America’s most vital independent labels, Hippos In Tanks, Acephale and RVNG INTL. Like the labels they call home, the artists involved represent the most exciting cross-section of underground pop.
