So there you have it: following a short teaser and the registration of 13 tracks with PPL in recent weeks – alongside a lot of tidbits in not-so-recent weeks – the new Daft Punk album has been given a release date. ‘Random Access Memories’ will be released on May 21st through Daft Life Limited, an imprint of Columbia Records, and is available to pre-order on iTunes now. It’ll be 13 tracks long, as previously reported, but that’s about all we know – there are no track names or previews up just yet. It’s still exciting, although a slight shame to see that the album art breaks from their thematic tradition.
