Relive that Christmas cheer with the gifts you may've missed, from DJ Q, Visionist, Loefah, E.m.m.a, Murlo and more.
Giving is receiving, and music fans received a lot of gifts for Christmas this year.
For those of you who spent their Christmas Day guzzling wine, scoffing Yorkshire puddings, and trying to explain "twerking" to your grandparents, you'll have probably missed the glut of free music given away gratis by artists and labels over the day. But don't fret: we've collected some of the streams and downloads that crept out over the course of December 25th (and the days surrounding it) in one nice, simple location. Check them out below.
- LuckyMe concluded their annual advent calendar with a free download of S-Type's Wow.
- Mixpak gave away a bumper collection of tracks by the likes of Murlo, Famous Eno, Dre Skull and Sudanim in their holiday bundle.
- Murlo shared a refix of Ashanti's Moves for a limited time only.
- Katy B covered The Ronettes' Sleigh Ride at Rob Da Bank's Christmas party.
- Pelican Fly star Sam Tiba did a special Xmas remix of labelmate Canblaster's I Can't Wait…
- …and Canblaster himself got festive, sharing a mix of piano tracks before he heads our to Japan.
- Keysound breakout E.m.m.a shared an alternative Christmas song called Snowstorm, commissioned for Tom Ravenscroft's BBC Radio 6 Music show.
- Swamp 81 bossman Loefah filled our stomachs with the deliciously named Veal.
- As he does every year, UK garage legend Zed Bias shared a .zip file containing an absurd amount of unreleased music.
- DJ Q made an unbelievable bootleg remix of Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You, called – wait for it – All I Want For Christmas Is Q.
- Avant-grime pinup Visionist slung a new song, Means To An End, on his Soundcloud as a free download.
- Italians Do It Better/Troubleman Unlimited feller Mike Simonetti got into the festive spirit with the cheerily titled Get Lost.
- Lil B, the internet personified, shared a new mixtape, '05 Fuck Em'. It has 101 tracks on it.
- Trappy grime producer Faze Miyake shared a big box of old tracks, 'Woofer Music', while fellow grime producer Sir Spyro gave away the Bat-tastic Bruce Wayne.
- Ryan Hemsworth shared a bunch of remixes of the likes of Lorde, Disclosure, and Beyonce to his followers to celebrate his awesome 2013 called '☺RYANPACKv.1☺'.
- And finally, Snoop Dogg did his version of Elvis Presley's Blue Christmas. Why not?
