Boiler Room hosting a tribute to DJ Rashad tonight
Kode9, Oneman, Ikonika, and Addison Groove will play in tribute to the footwork producer.
Boiler Room will host a tribute to DJ Rashad tonight.
Following the death of the Chicago footwork pioneer on Saturday, Boiler Room are holding a tribute show in his honour. Hyperdub's Kode9 and Ikonika, who frequently toured with Rashad, will play, as will juke-inspired producer (and Rashad collaborator) Addison Groove. Topping the bill will be Oneman, who is starting a Boiler Room residency.
The show will be broadcast from 6-9pm on Boiler Room tonight (April 29th).
