Blondes: new limited 12”, Europe tour and mixtape
BLONDES are set to release a three part, limited edition vinyl 12” series on New York City’s cutting edge label RVNG Intl., starting with the first installment entitled ‘Lover/Hater’, which will be available worldwide in selected record stores on 15th March. Following up their debut ‘Touched’ EP on Merok, the rising atmospheric dance group Zach Steinman and Sam Haar examine love and hate in the form of hynoptic chords pulse in dense layered textures over shimmering house rhythms. A CD/digital album of the three 12” releases bundled with exclusive bonus tracks and remixes will put an end to the series.
In February, the group will relocate to Berlin for the whole month in order bring their warm, ecstatic semi-improvisational music to German clubs and other European cities such as London, Dublin, Glasgow, Antwerp and Copenhagen. In March, Zach and Sam will join forces with Simian Mobile Disco and The Juan Maclean in supporting the bands on a US tour. BLONDES will also perform their debut show at HARD weekend events in the Bay Area, LA, and NYC. They made this mix, cleverly called Kunsthaus (“Art House”, German fans) to go promo the tour, it’s pretty cool:
