Battles announce new album 'La Di Da Di'

The experimental group's third album lands on Warp Records in September.

Battles release their third album 'La Di Da Di' in September.

Dave Konopka, Ian Williams, and John Stanier's last album was 2011's 'Gloss Drop', which featured guest vocalists like Gary Numan and Kazu Makino.

Details of 'La Di Da Di' are sparse, but a press release says that the band have "confronted their own ideas of what Battles is", and that, as its title implies, 'La Di Da Di' is "a mushrooming monolith of repetition… an organic techno thrum of nearly infinite loops that refuse to remain consistent."

The band will also head out on a huge world tour. A ticket and album bundle is available.
