Andrew Weatherall, The Chemical Brothers and Underworld donate vinyl for charity jumble sale

Bag records by dance music royalty and raise money for abused women in DRC.

When was the last time you found yourself at a jumble sale? Well, here’s one you really can’t afford to miss, with vinyl donated by The Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Erol Alkan and Friendly Fires up for grabs, plus a 90s record box from none other than Mr Andrew Weatherall. Dummy will be running the record stall, so come down and say hello.

It’ll be jumble prices – and it’s all for a brilliant cause. Organised by The Music Circle, Radio 1’s Gemma Cairney and TV presenter Dawn Porter as part of Oxfam’s Get Together for International Women’s Day, the event will raise money to support abused women in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

If you want to pick up some garms, Jessie Ware, Bat For Lashes, Benga and Marilyn Manson (yes, Marilyn Manson) are among the music stars who have donated so get your haggling skills at the ready.

The jumble will take place on Saturday 26th January at Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club in London from 12-6pm (event details). It’s £3 entry and you must bring some jumble to donate.
