A new Daft Punk album 100% exists

Label register 13 untitled Daft Punk tracks with music licensing agency.

Pioneering French dance music duo Daft Punk have teased fans about their forthcoming album, but now their label have confirmed the details, registering a new set of untitled tracks under the group’s name with the music licensing company PPL.

The news, picked up by the wide net of @edm, follows on from a 15 second ad featuring a new song and, though it’s certainly conclusive, the screengrab below does lack the sparkle of a formal unveiling. We now know that the new Daft Punk album was recorded in 2013, is made up of 13 tracks that run to a total of 74 minutes and 40 seconds and that their International Standard Recording Codes are USQX913001…wait, you don’t really care about that do you?
