Todd Terje - It's The Arps

Norwegian DJ and producer Todd Terje released a new EP this week on Smalltown Supersound. He’s uploaded the entire release, ‘It’s The Arps’, onto his soundcloud page as well. The record was made using the ARP2600 synthesizer (hence the EP’s name), and follows on from his much played ‘Ragysh’ release last year. There’s nothing on this that quite matches the lovely flurry of Snooze 4 Love, but Inspector Norse, made from basic elements, is the kind of clever simple track guaranteed to worm it’s way into your brain and onto dance floors all over the place. Swing Star (pt 1 + pt 2) is the other track of note, a nicely done piece of sprawlingly, star gazing house. Listen below.
