The xx and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra Live

The xx, fresh from the release of their second album earlier this month took to the stage for a performance with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in Bridlington. Performing songs from both ‘Coexist’ and their 2010 début ‘xx’ the band use the symphony orchestra smartly and sparingly – expanding their atmospheric sound without overpowering it. Deserved props all round for this crowning achievement.
