Slime - Bruised (featuring Tamara Quaddoumi)

With beautifully haunting vocals provided by newcomer Tamara Quaddoumi and naive light percussion consisting of various maracas and other instruments that remind you of first school music lessons, Bruised is simplistic and innocent, yet still manages to create a sense of melancholy that eases from the violins and sax. This track is soothing and relaxed, the isolated rhythm trudging along blissfully oblivious as every other instrumental element of the track including Quaddoumi’s voice float and intermingle to form a frankly lovely song.
