The first track to emerge from his new album is heavy, sweaty and infectious.
Hotflush Recordings label boss Scuba has got another album coming out, and a track from it has made it onto the internet. The Hope was included as the final track in his new year’s eve mix on Mary Anne Hobb’s XFM show, and it sounds pretty gigantic. This is heavy, sweaty, dance music at its best, a vocal just the right amount of sleazy carried along on a dark and hard hitting groove. It’s the kind of forceful bludgeon of a track that is sure to be peppering DJ sets everywhere soon, and it’s got us pretty excited for the album, ‘Personality’ dropping in February.
