Purity Ring - Fineshrine

Canadian electro-pop outfit Purity Ring have revealed another single from their coming debut album ‘Shrines’ which is set to be released on July 24th on 4AD and Last Gang . Fineshrine will be the second track on the album and hits with the same gut-wrenching grace and supple beauty that has come to be expected from the duo. Corin Roddick’s production is colossal and anthemic as vocalist Megan James sings delicately of gore and sacrifice in the blood-drenched ode to love. As James echoes “you build a fine shrine in me” Fineshrine depicts the self doubt and vulnerability associated with handing your heart over to the person you love and sheltering the shrine of depressed romance inside you.
