Premiere: Lokane - WINGS

Lokane has stepped out of the shadows to announce his first project since 2016's 'Visions'. Titled 'WINGS' and dropping it on the Nervous Horizon label, the London-based producer is out to shake the U.K. dance landscape in new and imaginative ways when the EP drops on October 6th.

Moving away from his more familiar club constructions, including tracks like ‘Body Double VIP’ — a standout on recent label compilation, ‘Nervous Horizon Volume 2’ — ‘WINGS’ was conceived with the aim of bringing American rap to the underworld of U.K. dance. In doing so, Lokane reached out to recruit Chicago drill rapper Mikey Dollaz and Queens MC, Dai Burger, to act as the main voices of the record. Today, we have the title track from the new project for your listening pleasure. In it, Lokane delves deep into his own sound design, veering off the drum-focused, club tool path into more conceptual, artistic spaces.
