Premiere: George Maple - Uphill

There’s a chance that, whenever anything gets written about George Maple in the future, you will read these words or words to this effect: George Maple is not, as you might expect, a man. We’re sorry if this line gets repeated ad infinitum, but it’s worth establishing now. She originally hails from Australia, and has recently been touring Europe and the United States with Flight Facilities. She has also collaborated with Flume (who recently shared his album) and is currently working on new material and a live show with stellar artists like Two Inch Punch and Bondax. Put simply, Maple has been very busy with others, but Uphill – available here as a free download – shows her making tentative steps into the world of solo artist proper.
