Premiere: 18+ - Guards

It's cause for celebration this month as London label Houndstooth celebrate three years in the game. At the same time as reaching their milestone 50th release, Houndstooth present ‘Tessellations’- a compilation of brand new and exclusive tracks from its 14-deep crew of artists.

Tracing the common threads within it's impeccably eclectic roster – the album features contributions ranging from Akkord to Aïsha Devi and Special Request to Snow Ghosts. We managed to get our hands on Guards – a candyfloss sweet, oscillating cut from Dummy backed duo 18+. The third track in, Guards stokes the fires of 'Tessellations' with a brat-pack party rap vibe that you'll be struggle to resist singing along into your hairbrush to.

Not falling short on birthday celebrations, Houndstooth kick off a triple threat party run, first returning to their spiritual home on February 20th with an epic room two takeover line-up including Dave Clarke, Call Super and Marquis Hawkes, as well as a live show from Second Storey. The label will then continue onto Dalston’s Shacklewell Arms on February 25th, before hopping over to Berghain the night after for a weighty Berlin session. See you on the party train…
