New Music: Sam Gellaitry - Hibernation

A couple of years ago, Scottish producer Sam Gellaitry popped out of nowhere as part of the Soulection collective, dropping his amazing Short Stories EP that showed off his bewitching binary of leftfield electronica and beautiful melodies.

More EPs followed and it was clear that the kid had talent. Now back after a moment of silence, the man from Stirling shares a short but sweet new cut called ‘Hibernation’. With rich, warm textures and tropical drum sequences, the new release expands on Gellaitry’s expansive sonic palette while moving the hips a little. A welcome return.
