New Music: Formation 'On The Board' (Bad Sounds Remix)

Following on from their inspired Dummy takeover around the release of their very strong 'We Are The Powerful People' album, Formation have just released an ace remix of 'On the Board' by oddball, hip-hop types Bad Sounds. A chugging, bleepy, sample-laden beast it takes the band to places they've never been but probably always wanted to visit – think Dr Octagon fronted by Joe Strummer.

The band play Festival Number 6, Portmeirion today, and then The Box stage at Bestival, Dorest tomorrow night. Check them out if you can as the band are great live: "As Formation, they make a noise that is the single most explosive and joyously angry thing you’ll hear for a long time."
