Natasha Kmeto - Dirty Mind Melt

Premiered yesterday on FACT, Natasha Kmeto Dirty Mind Melt, could be described as a veritable melting pot of influences, if using such a hackneyed expression didn’t make you feel incredibly ashamed of yourself. It’s got an R&B basis, but with some of the production techniques of ‘bass music’, and as it progresses there’s a sense that there’s a footwork rhythm hidden in there that’s trying to break free, executed with enough subtlety to prevent it from feeling contrived.

Dropping Gems will release the ‘Dirty Mind Melt’ EP on February 19th.
