Mr Mitch is a producer and DJ from south-east London. After having released on Butterz and Slit Jockey, as well as through his own Gobstopper Records, he’s back with a 14 track free / pay-as-much-as-you-like download. ‘Venus is the first volume of the ‘Searching’ series. As the name indicates it comes with cosmic inspired artwork and a romantic love/hate theme.

Bold and innovative, he takes his grimey roots to a different level with the use of Drexciya-inspired sounds, spacey basslines, and bittersweet 8bit echoes. Overall, it’s a laid back, dreamy and nicely crafted sonic journey that suggests a more sci fi approach to urban sound.
