Air Max '97 dons the springiest creps for his rework of Kelela's single.
Back in late December, Kelela released 'Hallucinogen Remixes', a collection of edits of the songs from her 'Hallucinogen' EP that featured Sporting Life, GAIKA, DJ Spinn, and Air Max '97, who recently shared his take on All The Way Down.
The Melbourne producer has now shared another rework, 'Hallucinogen's lead single Rewind. Taking the song to a "more uptempo" territory, Air Max '97 brings shuffling footwork fancy and hyper beam textures to Kelela's vocals, manipulating her verses with a building, muted bass throb and glass-shattering force.
Last week, Kelela unveiled a mini-documentary Interlude that previews new music. In an interview with Dazed titled Total Surrender, Kelela confirmed her highly-anticipated debut album is out in May. Arca, Jam City, and Bok Bok as the chief collaborators - watch it here.

Kelela's 'Hallucinogen Remixes' EP is out now through Warp Records (buy).
