Crampton reworks Send Me Out as "a presentation for educational and non-commerical use only."
Elysia Crampton has jumped on a Kelela song again. After using Keep It Cool for Confessions of a Postcarceral Feminist and remixing Something Else, Crampton has now delivered another programme called Horizon Of Racialized Sciencism.
For this song, Crampton has lifted from Kelela's Send Me Out (from her 'Cut 4 Me' mixtape), adding twinkling, stargazed keys to the singer-songwriter's imploring vocals. "A presentation for educational and non-commercial use only," Crampton throws in gun-shot sirens and Latin voice samples, stripping away the sonic weight from Kingdom's original production and given a #:( in its place.
