Kyson - Missing Things

The newest Friends of Friends signing is Australian-born, Berlin-dwelling producer and vocalist Kyson, known as Jian Kellet Liew to his proverbial. Liew makes swooning electronic compositions that borrow from silky R&B and sulky post-dubstep, with Mount Kimbie-esque glimmers and scatterings of emotive vocal thrown in – and his singing voice is as beautiful as his ear for a beat, recalling Bon Iver's weirder moments (which is fitting, since Liew got a lot of attention for his delicately powerful remix of Justin Vernon's Holocene last year).
