Just Blaze - Behold (Exhibit J)

Just Blaze is gearing up to release a house EP for Fool’s Gold. The DJ and producer, beatmaker for some of the biggest stars of hip hop, has long been a house aficionado, going as far as to rework a classic Cajmere track a couple of years back, but this marks his most high-profile foray into the genre.

It has the classic piano house sound, and is executed with unquestionable grace, but it doesn’t completely scrap elements of the hip hop he built his name on – the piano line is a reworking from Jay Electronica’s Just Blaze-produced epic Exhibit A. Apparently the track won’t appear on his Fool’s Gold EP, but it’s definitely a taste of what to expect.
