Piercing synthesisers, tensely strung bass lines and charging drum beats create the perfect provide the perfect habitat for John’s deeply resonant, reverb-drenched vocal.

John Maus will be returning to the UK this summer when he performs at Scala in London on 14th August 2012. For full information and to get your tickets click here

Bennington will be featured on Maus’ ‘A Collection of Rarities and Previously Unreleased Material’ which is out on LP, CD and digitally on July 16th. The track initially appeared on ‘The Beat Blocker Compilation’ [2008] as well as ‘Rarities for Rough Trade’.

The forthcoming album’s cover and inner sleeve artwork were provided by Turner Prize winning artist/photographer Wolfgang Tillmans. The LP is limited to a one time worldwide pressing of 3000 copies (500 translucent pink / 2500 standard black) and only a small number of the special edition translucent pink LPs remain available for pre-order from the Ribbon Mart.
