James Ferraro's new Body Guard project drops first mixtape

Still flying high on his widely praised ‘Far Side Virtual’ album [Hippos In Tanks, 2011] and fresh from dropping his BEBETUNES hip hop mixtape, LA based artist James Ferraro has launched a new musical missive into the world under a new pseudonym: BODY GUARD. This time around it’s a band project, though it’s not yet clear who his cohorts are. As ever, it’s sponge-like in its blurry cultural referencing, slipping and sliding seductively/hypnotically/lethargically in that in-between time/genre zone.
