Phantasy Sound musician Ghost Culture does a dreamy rework of the NYC group's latest single.
Interpol are getting a lot of good people to remix tracks from their most recent album, 'El Pintor'.
Following a remix of My Desire by Erol Alkan and Richard Norris's psychedelic disco project Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve late last year, they've got Alkan associate Ghost Culture to rework their latest single Anywhere.
Ghost Culture is a good fit with Interpol. Although happy to rattle a dancefloor with intricately-constructed analogue club tracks, his recent debut album was made up of introverted, vocal synth pop that was clearly informed by an indie rock upbringing. His rework of Anywhere has a dreamy quality and scattershot electro rhythms.
Interpol are playing a few shows on UK shores at the moment, starting with two dates at London's Roundhouse tomorrow.
