Incredible archive live recordings of Ariel Pink, Julia Holter and Linda Perhacs

Here’s a wonderful set of tunes for all fans of underground pop music – a 18-song compilation of live recording from the last six year. Recorded by exemplary label Human Ear in LA, some are legends (Morton Feldman’s extraordinary keyboard music is quite wonderful, and is Linda Perhacs’s sweet adlibs and sweeter voice), like Ariel Pink and Julia Holter, have go on to justified success, while some (hi, Bubonic Plague!) are totally new to our ears. Either way, a great way to get accquainted with one of the better firms out there, and a great set of surprising pop to drift away with.
