Glass Candy - The Possessed (Extended Runway Edit)

A new Glass Candy track has appeared on Johnny’s Jewel’s Soundcloud page. Allegedly from the much-mooted, long-delayed ‘After Dark 2’ compilation, the track was premiered at a fashion show in Paris – hence the runway in its name. Musically it’s a much more saccharine affair than the ‘noir disco’ tag that often gets associated with Glass Candy and Johnny Jewel’s larger body of work, although Ida No’s lyrics – written in full on the Italians Do It Better Blog – are a lot darker than the song suggests.
