Deerhunter - Breaker

Following the shape-shifting lead single Snakeskin, Deerhunter has previewed a new single taken from their upcoming seventh album 'Fading Frontier'.

The new single titled Breaker comes accompanied by a video directed by Bradford Cox, with fellow group member Lockett Pundt assisting with additional photography. 

Drifting away from the funk-inflected strut of Snakeskin, Breaker brings to mind the sunny pop melodies on the second half of 'Cryptograms', with the added lyrical and sonic clarity of 2010's 'Halcyon Digest'.  Though Cox takes the majority of the lead vocals, surprisingly, the song is the first time the two founding members have duetted on a track.
